FICTIONAL SHORT STORIES

Solo Living publishes fictional short stories for the Solo Living and living alone community. All of our short stories to date are written by Hannah Westman. Our collaboration began with a series of short stories following singles during the festive season.

We then asked Hannah to take a different approach to the festive season and demonstrating her writing talents. She writes a 12-part murder mystery, Creaky Old House, shared with the Solo Living Community over the 12 Days of Christmas.

Two further series followed as a response to the global pandemic.

Solo Lockdown Short Stories follows 12 Solos as they navigate life in the UK during the first lockdown. What’s Normal? explores life and emotions as the three-month lockdown between March and May began to ease.

On a completely different topic, Hannah writes about Olivia, who as a woman in her mid-thirties reflects on her life and friendships as she explores her attitudes towards parenthood.
