FICTIONAL SHORT STORIESÂ
Solo Living publishes fictional short stories for the Solo Living and living alone community. All of our short stories to date are written by Hannah Westman. Our collaboration began with a series of short stories following singles during the festive season in 2019. Two further series followed in 2020, as a response to the global pandemic.
Solo Lockdown Short Stories follows 12 Solos as they navigate the lockdown. What's Normal? explores life and emotions as the three-month lockdown between March and May began to ease.
For the festive season 2020, we asked Hannah to take a different approach to demonstrate her writing talents. She writes a 12-part murder mystery, shared with the Solo Living Community over the 12 Days of Christmas.
For Spring 2021, Hannah writes about Olivia who as a woman in her mid-thirties reflects on her life and friendships as she explores her attitudes towards parenthood.
