Gifts for our furry friends and their mums and dads.
This year of 2020 has held huge challenges globally and left no one without some impact. With all the stresses the energy in general, for both us and our pets, will have adjusted. Indeed our furry friends might be a little stressed too, which is completely understandable. Week 4 of our Christmas Gift-Giving series is firmly focused around gifts for our cats and mementoes to remind us of our loveable furry companions.
On top, in many cases, they do not have the house to themselves during the day. Some of you pets may be overjoyed at this renewed companionship. Others, maybe our feline friends – yes you Top Cat – might be wondering when we are planning to leave the building! They need some me-time, some solitude.
Also, from the stories I have heard, the dogs are getting weary, especially during the first weeks of lockdown when they were the legitimate reason to go for a walk. They are tired now, their 10,000 steps a day are done already- for the year!☺
At Solo Living, we know how important to us our furry family companions have been to us this year. It’s important to celebrate them during our For Love of Christmas Gift-Giving series. News reports say there are also many new ‘mums and dads’ of pets this year and so it will be a fantastic way to spoil our new family members this first Christmas – thanking them for the positivity they bring to our homes.
This week we are focusing on our feline friends, we thought they would be upset if they were not to be our first focus. Next week will be a week of doggie delights.
We hope you find something that you will love..almost as much as the real thing.
First up, we wanted to spend a day in Cat spa, thinking of all the things our feline friends might enjoy on Christmas day, which means they may want to wake up in one of these very stylish spots.
Thinking of Christmas Morning brunch, we also thought it can be really fun to have some treats on hand, especially if the Reindeer have enjoyed some snacks, these treat boxes and Christmas crackers will not go unnoticed.
We also know the tradition of the Christmas jumper is really important and why not include every member of the family in this? – it can be quite cold in December for everyone.
And finally, as a gift that keeps on giving, this personalised bag for all gifts, toys and treats you give your cat or cats, can be a great way to keep everything in one place. It’s somewhere to keep topping up with Christmas day treats and surprises.
Moving over to mums and dads of our furry friends, there are some really fantastic customized options that are really fun to help you find the perfect memento for the Love of Christmas Gift Giving.
First up there are these great socks where can have a picture of your furry friend/family member. Why would you wear any other socks?
There is also a great selection of portrait opportunities on canvas, which are super fun, although your cat may be upset.
However, being on the front cover of a global magazine might appeal for your cat or dog, with these framed Time magazine cover shots among others…Dogue, anywone?
Taking photos of your cat or the cat of a giftee, and having it transformed into art is a great bespoke and fun gift. Alternatives include this pet pillow meaning you can transport your cat with you while you go on trips.
There are also full-scale artist portraits for a lifelong gift, capturing a life moment and the spirit and beauty of an owner’s cat. A gift to treasure. They are available in a variety of visual styles and media and so there is a look for everyone’s preferences.
Finally, as a little underline to our selection of gifts for cats and cat parents (or you)!, we thought this little definition might capture the special admiration you have for your furry friends 😉
Week 5 in our Christmas Gift Giving series will be all about gifts for our dogs.
