We are powering through our 12 Weeks of our For The Love of Christmas Gift-Giving Series, and we are almost at 12 days to go to the wonderful day itself.
This week we wanted to offer a “smorgasbord” of socks.

Socks are an essential part of our love of Christmas gift-giving, and at Solo Living, we believe that no Christmas Day would be complete with some lovely new socks in everyone’s stocking.
The choice is fantastic! No longer will simple navy will do.
In an ode to cities, we have included these great London Map Socks as I am sure many people have missed travel opportunities this year and London ranks as one of the great destinations to visit.
For our little friends, these gorgeous organic and cosy animal socks have the benefit of keeping little toes warm in the winter months.
And for the more grown-up but still young at heart, fun Dinosaur socks can be great to wear at home or to the kick-off of a fancy dress party costume too (when those are back on the agenda of course ;))
For some sustainable socks with a really warm and cosy feel, these slight seconds alpaca bed socks look even more attractive as a one-off and perfect for those who do not like to waste.
As more of a slipper moment, these Slipper Socks also benefit from being fair trade as well as keeping your toes cosy at home.
With a more luxurious gift in mind cashmere socks are a fabulous way to tick so many boxes in terms of being useful, beautiful and with a sense of luxury and decadence for the holiday season. Cashmere is never not well received in my experience, and so it gives the giver confidence that your gift will be loved and appreciated very much.
These handmade 100% cashmere socks look incredibly soft in a neutral colour.
From the wonderful Johnston of Elgin, there are a choice of options for Women
And Men. All the colours are lovely but I am quite a fan of the yellow to brighten up January days.
Finally, Baby loves cashmere too, and for tiny ones on your Christmas list these super sweet little booties (technically not socks but sort of from the same family☺) looks perfect for keeping warm and also for a little present keepsake of those tiny toe years.
The great thing about gifting lovely socks is that it does not need to be hugely expensive, but it quietly shows thought and care, particularly now as you can choose something to suit every personality.
Next week on our Love of Christmas Gift Giving is our final week in the series. We turn to last minute gifts and stocking fillers. Little tokens of appreciation we would like to express to others – be it neighbours, key workers or local shop owners that we have grown to love and see more and more throughout this year as we spend more time at home and locally.
